As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.70 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, parking areas, fuel areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards. • Monitor customer and employee activity, access points, and assigned areas to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and other security-related concerns. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: • Possess at least two years of security-related experience. • A guard card or license is preferred. • CPR certification is preferred. • Alarm panel experience is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
