Key responsibilities: • Prepare dining areas before guests are seated • Set tables with required items such as napkins, linens and silverware • Place tableware on tables • Serve water as needed • Refill beverages • Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed • Clean and reset tables after guests leave • Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas • Assist servers and hosts when necessary • Maintain the restaurant areas in a neat and orderly condition at all times. • Assist servers in constantly checking tables for condition of plates, empty glasses, cleanliness, etc. • Sweep and/or mop all restaurant areas at the end of every shift, removing, cleaning and replacing matting each time. Qualifications: • High school degree or equivalent; or relevant work experience • Preferred to have 1-2 years' experience in high volume, luxury lounge or restaurant • Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction. • Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Strong interpersonal in working with high-profile clients and problem-solving abilities • Highly responsible & reliable • Flexible to work AM, PM shifts, weekends and holidays Physical Requirements: • Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods. • Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and stooping. • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely. • Ability to work in a busy restaurant setting.
