Job Title Registered Nurse – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) Location San Antonio, TX | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to patients in a 24-bay PACU setting • Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, identifying and responding to changes in condition • Float to Phase II recovery as needed • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system • Participate in a rotated on-call schedule, including weekend call as required Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • Current ACLS certification required — candidates without ACLS will not be considered • Prior PACU or post-anesthesia care experience Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with Phase II recovery • Familiarity with Meditech EMR • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity recovery environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a well-established PACU unit with a structured and supportive care team • 13-week contract offering professional growth and flexibility in a dynamic clinical setting
