Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Float Location Saint Louis, MO | Short Term Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) Key Responsibilities • Float across medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, renal, and cardiology units as assigned within scope of practice • Call in to a recorded line up to 1 hour before scheduled shift start time to receive unit assignment when in float pool status • Operate lift devices (including ceiling lifts) and bladder scanner; training provided on lift devices • Adhere to patient ratios of 1:5–6 on days and weekends and 1:6 on nights • Fulfill every-other-weekend requirement (Saturday/Sunday) or a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, plus holiday rotation • Document patient care using EPIC electronic health records system Required Qualifications • Active RN license in Missouri or a qualifying compact state (submission without MO license is acceptable; pending license considered) • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry or a related setting • BCLS and ACLS certifications required (must be obtained by compliance document deadline) • IV start competency and Telemetry certification required • Willingness to float to all assigned medical units within scope of practice • Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification preferred • Prior experience in oncology, neuro, renal, or cardiology nursing • Familiarity with EPIC charting system Why Join Us • Expected 3 shifts of shift-length coverage per 13-week contract, offering a degree of scheduling predictability • Complimentary on-site parking available for the duration of the assignment
