Job Title Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (IR) / Special Procedures Location San Antonio, TX | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Full-Time | Onsite | 6-Week Assignment | Expected 40 hours/week Key Responsibilities • Provide intra-procedural nursing care within an Interventional Radiology setting • Monitor and assess patients throughout IR procedures, responding promptly to changes in patient condition • Participate in on-call rotation — candidates should expect up to 12 call days during the assignment, including at least one weekend • Collaborate with the IR team to ensure safe, efficient procedural workflow • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • ACLS certification required — must be included in submission packet • BLS certification required — must be included in submission packet • Ability to participate in on-call scheduling, including weekends • No time-off requests or special scheduling considerations can be accommodated during this assignment Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures nursing • Familiarity with intra-procedural monitoring and IR-specific equipment • Experience in a rapid-response or fast-paced acute care environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a specialized, high-acuity IR environment with a dynamic clinical team • Rapid-response placement offering immediate start for qualified candidates
