Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Renal) Location Florence, SC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a renal patient population • Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6–7 nurse-to-patient ratio • Document patient care and clinical assessments using Epic electronic health records • Float to other Medical Surgical units within the facility as needed to meet staffing needs • Participate in holiday rotation as required by the facility • Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams Required Qualifications • Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license — must be active and in hand prior to start date • BLS certification required • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience • Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted • Previous permanent or PRN staff at this facility must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; time-off requests after submission will not be accepted Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with renal or nephrology patient populations • Prior experience charting in Epic • First-time travelers are welcome to apply Why Join Us • Complimentary on-site parking available • On-call is not required for this position
