Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Renal) Location Florence, SC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a Renal focus, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:6–7 • Adhere to night shift schedule (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), including every other weekend and holiday rotation • Document patient care and clinical information using Epic electronic health records • Float to other Medical Surgical units within scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs • Participate in emergency response team assignments as required during hurricane season (June–November) Required Qualifications • Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license — must be active and in hand prior to start date • BLS certification required • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience • First-time travelers are welcome to apply • Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted • Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience in Renal or related Medical Surgical subspecialty • Prior experience charting in Epic • Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and pre-start requirements Why Join Us • Free on-site parking available for the duration of your assignment • Block scheduling may be considered with advance approval prior to assignment start
