Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Paducah, KY Schedule / Job Type Contract | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments, incorporating culture, age, developmental level, and risk factors in accordance with RN scope of practice and applicable policies. • Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate individualized plans of care in coordination with patients, families, and the inter-professional team. • Administer and monitor patient care therapies and procedures with clinical autonomy, recognizing and communicating changes in patient condition in a timely manner. • Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities, including discharge teaching and coordination with Case Management. • Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of delegated patient care. • Actively participate in unit-based quality improvement activities, including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, pressure ulcer prevention, CAUTI reduction, and documentation auditing. Required Qualifications • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) required. • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all members of the care team. • Proficiency with or ability to be trained on applicable computer systems and applications. Preferred Experience / Skills • Previous clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting. • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
