Job Title Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Location Spartanburg, SC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels • Pass required on-site orientation testing, including a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and Moderate Sedation Test, on the first day of orientation — one attempt allowed • Fulfill holiday and on-call obligations: one holiday with two on-call or additional shifts per six weeks, or two holidays with no on-call or additional shifts • Adhere to facility attendance policy; more than two missed shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review • Submit all requested time off at the time of initial submission; time-off requests made after submission will not be considered Required Qualifications • Active RN license (pending license accepted; must be obtained prior to start date) • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience (considered on a case-by-case basis) • Must be available for on-call shifts per the schedule requirements outlined above • Compliance documents must be submitted 5 business days prior to scheduled start date by end of day Eastern Time • Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • 2 or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience • Recent experience with EPIC electronic health records system Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a high-acuity Emergency Room environment with a structured 13-week contract and consistent night shift scheduling • Modules are not required, streamlining the onboarding process for experienced travel nurses
