Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $30.55 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue08:15 AM - 03:45 PMSat08:15 AM - 03:45 PMSun08:15 AM - 03:45 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and partners at a government recreation location by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. • Screen visitors and belongings using designated screening equipment and procedures, reporting prohibited items, suspicious activity, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel. • Maintain professional access-control and visitor-processing practices while providing clear directions and assistance to guests. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations. Minimum Requirements: • At least two years of security-related experience is required. • X-ray screening experience is preferred. • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
