Title: Vice President of Operations Job Description: Job Overview Responsible for operations of designated territory, to direct activities of Company’s operations, including sales, operations, customer relations and corporate directives. Roles & Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. • Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives. • Directs and coordinates activities of departments, key customers, regions or divisions for which responsibility is delegated to further attainment of goals and objectives. • Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives. • Confers with EVP or COO, and other senior leadership personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions. • The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. • Serves as member of management committees on strategic initiatives. • Significant travel will be required for this position. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
