Job Details: Job Location: Plano Campus - Plano, TX, Position Type: Part-Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Category: Admin - Clerical, Screen prospective ministry volunteers and assist in maintaining volunteer records for Prestonwood Baptist Church (“PBC”). Responsibilities: Analyze background check reports using the PBC Church Management Software Review screening results and elevate concerns or questions as appropriate Inform volunteers of screening policies and procedures Address member concerns about the volunteer screening process with professionalism Provide volunteer screening training to ministries Coordinate with ministries to confirm background check approval and abuse prevention training completion as needed Update volunteer screening records in the PBC Church Management Software Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Requirements: Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching ministry Knowledge of principles and processes involved in organizational planning, coordination, and execution Detail oriented Strong interpersonal skills with customer service experience preferred Ability to develop constructive and cooperative relationships Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work independently and with a high level of confidentiality Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office software Ability to work a Tuesday and Friday schedule with flexibility to provide coverage if needed Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 10 pounds without assistance
