Job Details: Job Location: Corporate Oklahoma City OK - Oklahoma City, OK, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Panhandle Oilfield Service Companies, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant for its Oklahoma City office. This is a hands-on accounting position supporting a multi-state oilfield services business. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with detailed spreadsheets, manual accounting processes, reconciliations, and a variety of day-to-day responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Prepare general ledger reconciliations and bank reconciliations. Assist with month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and prepaid expenses. Reconcile and monitor inventory and maintain fixed asset records. Coordinate accounting information with field office administrators. Maintain accurate spreadsheets, supporting documentation, and manual accounting records. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting duties as needed. Assist with daily reconciliations, posting, and banking. Qualifications: 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, including reconciliations and general ledger work. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently, organize competing priorities, and meet deadlines. Comfort with hands-on, spreadsheet-based and manual accounting processes. Experience with accounting software; Sage/MAS experience a plus if applicable. Oilfield services, construction, equipment, or related industry experience preferred. Ideal Candidate A dependable, adaptable accountant who takes ownership of work, follows through on discrepancies, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small accounting department. Strong accounting fundamentals and practical problem-solving matter more than experience with highly automated systems.
