Automotive Parts Manager Ready to take the lead and make an impact? What You'll Do Leadership & Team Development • Lead, coach, and develop the parts department team. • Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance goals. • Create a positive, team-oriented environment focused on customer service and efficiency. • Support training and development to help team members grow. Daily Parts Operations • Oversee all daily parts department operations. • Manage inventory levels, purchasing, stocking, and parts returns. • Ensure accurate receiving, pricing, invoicing, and inventory control. • Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing obsolescence and unnecessary expenses. • Ensure parts are available to support service, wholesale, and retail customers. • Develop and maintain strong vendor and manufacturer relationships. Financial & Performance Management • Monitor department profitability, gross profit, expenses, and inventory performance. • Develop and manage department budgets. • Review key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement. • Maintain accurate records and ensure department processes are followed. Service & Customer Support • Partner closely with Service Management to ensure technicians have the parts needed to complete repairs efficiently. • Support internal and external customers with timely and accurate parts fulfillment. • Resolve parts availability, pricing, and customer service concerns. • Identify opportunities to grow wholesale and retail parts sales. What We're Looking For • Previous automotive dealership parts management experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of automotive parts operations, inventory management, and purchasing. • Leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable. • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Understanding of department financials, gross profit, and inventory management. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment. • Experience with Toyota parts operations and dealership systems is a plus.
