Our client, a growing organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to oversee HR operations, develop policies and procedures, and support employees and leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys building HR processes, managing employee relations, supporting recruitment, and improving organizational practices while having a direct impact on business growth. What You'll Do • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and job descriptions • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding • Establish structured hiring processes and improve new-hire orientation programs • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, staffing needs, and employee development • Oversee employee relations, workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution • Develop and manage performance review programs and coach managers on employee performance • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including DOT, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and wage and hour regulations • Maintain employee records, compliance documentation, and required training certifications • Coordinate workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes • Administer employee benefits programs and manage relationships with benefits providers • Partner with Accounting on payroll accuracy, compensation changes, and employee records • Support employee engagement, retention, and professional development initiatives • Implement and improve HR systems, reporting, and administrative processes What We're Looking For • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources generalist experience • Strong background in recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance • Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures • Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruiting and employee onboarding • Knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws • Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA requirements or ability to learn these regulations • Experience developing performance management programs and coaching managers • Previous HR experience supporting both office and field employees preferred • Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and HR process improvements • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred • HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus • Valid driver's license required Why Consider This Opportunity?
