CDL Lead Diesel Mechanic / Shop Foremen job responsibilities include: • Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions • Repair, reline, replace & adjust brakes • Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors • Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined & other potentially troublesome areas • Plan work procedures using charts, technical manuals & experience • Communicate with driver to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services • Repair manual & automatic transmissions • Replace & adjust headlights • Comply with all safety, DOT, & OSHA guidelines • Adhere to company rules & regulations • Ensure cleanliness of shop & surrounding areas Advantages & benefits: Uniforms/ safety shoe program Pay is negotiable and varies based on location and experience Employee referral bonuses Company-sponsored skills training with pay increases!
