This per diem RN position in the emergency department starts on 05/04/2026. The role requires a 36-hour guaranteed schedule across three 12-hour night shifts per week. Candidates must hold a valid professional nursing license. Key Responsibilities: • Assess patients and perform initial triage to determine acuity. • Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered. • Monitor vital signs and document patient progress in the electronic medical record. • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to develop and implement care plans. • Respond promptly to code events and coordinate life-saving measures. • Perform rapid diagnostic tests and interpret results to inform treatment. • Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care. • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
