We are seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on General Manager to help launch and build our business from the ground up. Position Summary The General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and growth of TruBlue Services Fulshear. This individual will oversee operations, customer experience, business development, staffing, scheduling, and financial performance. The ideal candidate is a strong operator who is equally comfortable talking with customers, building relationships in the community, recruiting and managing technicians, and holding the team accountable for results. Because this is a growing business, the General Manager must be willing to be hands-on and adaptable. This is not a role where someone simply manages from behind a desk—the successful candidate will take ownership of building the business. Key Responsibilities Operations & Customer Experience • Oversee the daily operations of the business. • Ensure customers receive responsive, professional, high-quality service. • Manage scheduling, job coordination, customer communication, and service follow-up. • Monitor job quality and resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally. • Establish efficient processes as the business grows. • Ensure the business consistently meets TruBlue brand and operational standards. Team Leadership & Staffing • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and manage technicians and other team members as business needs grow. • Build a reliable, high-performing service team. • Establish clear expectations and hold employees accountable for performance. • Create a positive, professional, and customer-focused culture. • Manage technician productivity, scheduling, utilization, and performance. Business Development & Sales • Help drive local revenue growth through community outreach, relationship building, and business development. • Develop relationships with homeowners, real estate professionals, property managers, senior-focused organizations, and other potential referral sources. • Support efforts to grow recurring revenue through TruBlue’s home maintenance and maintenance plan offerings. • Identify opportunities to expand the customer base and generate repeat business. • Represent the company professionally within the local community. Financial & Business Performance • Take ownership of key business performance metrics, including revenue growth, customer satisfaction, labor efficiency, and profitability. • Monitor expenses and help manage the business responsibly. • Provide regular updates to ownership regarding business performance, opportunities, and challenges. • Help develop and execute plans to achieve monthly and annual growth goals. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: • Previous experience in operations, general management, business management, or a similar leadership role. • Strong leadership and people-management skills. • Experience in home services, construction, maintenance, property management, hospitality, retail operations, or another service-based business is preferred. • A demonstrated ability to build relationships and grow a business. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • The ability to solve problems quickly and make sound decisions. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. • Basic understanding of financial performance, budgeting, and business metrics. • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
