Full description

Client Service Associate | Independent Financial Advisory Firm | Lumberton, NC We’ve been in business since 1990. Our clients don’t leave and neither does our team. We’re looking for someone who wants a stable, long-term role at an established firm and is ready to be the person the whole office counts on to keep things running. We’re looking for someone to own the service side of the practice. If you’re experienced in financial services, you’re good with clients, and you want a role where you’re trusted to handle things without someone looking over your shoulder every step of the way, we’d love to talk. What You’ll Do • Prepare meeting agendas and coordinate the morning workflow • Process client paperwork from start to finish, following up on anything that needs to be corrected or resubmitted before it goes through • Handle client calls, answer questions about accounts and statements, and manage scheduling across the team • Execute trades in-house when the advisor and senior associate are unavailable • Keep the client relationship calendar running: birthday letters, monthly mailings, and the touches that make clients feel genuinely known • Maintain accurate CRM records so nothing slips through Requirements What We’re Looking For Must-haves: • Series 7 license, active or recently lapsed (we’ll support the reinstatement process) • Financial services experience. You already know how an advisory office works. • A self-starter mentality. You find answers before you ask for them and you’re not afraid of the phone. • Punctual, organized, and dependable Nice to have: • Broker-dealer platform experience • High emotional intelligence. Our clients go through major life events, and this role is often the first call they make when they do. • Familiarity with eMoney, Morningstar Advisor Workstation, or Altitude CRM Benefits What You Get • Salary: $62,000 to $75,000 • Performance bonus tied to firm production • 401(k) with a 4% guaranteed employer match • Healthcare reimbursement • PTO • All market holidays off • Hours: 9 to 5 Monday through Thursday; 9 to 4 on Fridays • In-office, Lumberton, NC Where This Can Go Our senior associate has been with this firm for over 35 years. As she moves toward retirement, the person in this seat grows with the role, taking on more responsibility over time and eventually stepping into a Senior Service Advisor title. This is a long-term seat for someone who wants to build something. How to Apply Send your resume and a brief note about your background in financial services and what draws you to a service-focused role. Applications without both will not be reviewed.
