As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.74 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 05:00 PMFri01:00 PM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to visitors, applicants, and employees at a government services location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies. • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as directed. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation. • Support orderly operations by providing directions, reporting maintenance or access concerns, and maintaining a professional presence in a public-facing environment. Minimum Requirements: • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
