Shift Hours: 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm 2nd shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm 3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:30am POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Journeyman will perform a variety of tasks to install, repair, and maintain all manufacturing equipment and the buildings while maintaining Lozier’s quality and safety standards. The Journeyman will provide direction and guidance to the trainees and apprentices. Appropriate personal protective equipment must be worn for this position. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS · Champion Lozier’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values by demonstrating the behaviors that contribute to Lozier’s success. · Experience in performing electromechanical repairs, welding, hydraulic troubleshooting and blueprint reading. · Experience in pneumatics, relay logic and PLC’s. · Operation of a variety of hand and powered tools including, but not limited to, surface grinders, milling machines, lathes, drill presses, belt sanders, saws, hoists, clamps, and measuring tools is necessary for this position. · Constant hand usage. · Frequent standing and reaching. · Occasional walking, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, and elevated reaching. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: Minimum of a two-year technical degree and/or industrial electrical experience is a plus. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of multi-craft experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is required. Required Skills: · Must possess a good attendance record. · Good communication skills, both written and oral. · Ability to work independently or with a team.
