Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Memphis, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Expected 48 hours/week; 36 hours/week may be available Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center • Function within a team nursing model, collaborating with LPNs and medication nurses to manage a shared patient caseload • Monitor and respond to telemetry readings and changes in patient condition throughout the night shift • Participate in on-call and weekend assignments as needed • Adhere to all facility compliance, credentialing, and floating expectations, including potential float to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius • Be available to work required holidays per facility policy when holidays fall within the assignment period Required Qualifications • Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted) • Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience (strictly enforced) • At least 1 prior completed travel nursing assignment required • Level I Trauma experience required • Large hospital experience required • Active BLS certification required; if expiring during the assignment, a documented renewal plan must be provided at time of submission • Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • 3 or more years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience • EPIC EMR experience • ADN accepted; BSN not required for this position Why Join Us • Opportunity to work at a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center with a structured team nursing model that supports manageable patient ratios • ASAP start date available for qualified travelers ready to hit the ground running
