Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Ortho) Location Memphis, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Expected 48 hours/week; 36 hours/week may be considered Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Orthopedic unit within a Level I Trauma Center environment • Function within a team nursing model, collaborating with LPNs, a medication nurse, and a charge nurse • Participate in on-call duties and weekend rotation as needed • Adhere to unit-specific protocols and large hospital systems and workflows • May be floated to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed Required Qualifications • Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted) • Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience required • Level I Trauma experience required • Large hospital experience required • At least one prior completed travel assignment required • BLS certification required and must be current throughout the assignment • Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible (strictly enforced) • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; RTO submitted after an offer is made will not be honored • If the assignment spans end-of-year holidays, willingness to work at least 1–2 of the following may be required: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Preferred Experience / Skills • 3 or more years of recent relevant experience • Orthopedic nursing experience • Oncology nursing experience • EPIC electronic health record experience Why Join Us • Opportunity to work at a Short-Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center with a structured team nursing model • Fast-start opportunity with an ASAP start date available
