Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Maryville, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 (18:45–07:15) | Every other weekend coverage expected (subject to change based on need) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours • Float to like units based on skill set and demonstrated competencies as census needs require • Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system • Document patient care and assessments accurately using EPIC EMR • Participate in pre-assignment testing and complete required orientation modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials • Complete annual compliance modules as required by the facility Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a valid multistate/compact RN license • ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry • Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required • Must not be a first-time traveler — prior travel nursing experience required • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience in both teaching hospital and community hospital settings • Demonstrated ability to adapt to floating assignments across similar units Why Join Us • Orientation modules completed pre-start may be reimbursable for up to 16 hours of time • Opportunity to work in a structured travel program with clear compliance guidelines and consistent scheduling expectations
