Job Title Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Location Maryville, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 (18:45–07:15) | Every other weekend coverage expected (subject to change based on need) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic unit during night shift hours • Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system • Document and manage patient information using EPIC EMR • Float to like units based on skill set and demonstrated competencies as needed due to census concerns • Complete required pre-assignment testing and compliance modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials Required Qualifications • Active Tennessee RN license or multistate compact license • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in orthopedic or a similar specialty • Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience • Must not be a first-time traveler • Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience in both teaching and community hospital settings • Familiarity with orthopedic patient populations and post-surgical care Why Join Us • Pre-assignment orientation modules may be reimbursable for up to 16 hours of completed work • Opportunity to work within a structured, well-supported travel nursing program with clear compliance guidelines
