Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Maryville, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours • Support bedside procedures including dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage • Care for post-heart catheterization patients and monitor telemetry as required • Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system • Float to similar units as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies • Provide every-other-weekend coverage, with schedule subject to change based on facility need Required Qualifications • Active RN license in the state of Tennessee • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience • Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience • Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 50–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced bill rate; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with Omnicell medication management systems • Familiarity with post-cardiac catheterization patient care • First-time travelers will be considered based on overall clinical experience Why Join Us • Orientation is provided at the start of the assignment, and pre-assignment modules may be reimbursable for up to 16 hours of completed time • Floating assignments are limited to units and tasks for which the traveler has already demonstrated and documented competencies
