Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Maryville, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours • Float to similar units as needed based on census demands • Assist with or support bedside procedures including dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage • Provide post-procedural care for patients following heart catheterization • Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system • Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements prior to and during the assignment Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience • Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience • Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 50–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 50 miles are not eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with Omnicell medication management systems • Familiarity with post-heart catheterization patient care • First-time travelers with strong relevant clinical experience may be considered Why Join Us • Reimbursement may be available for pre-assignment module completion (up to 16 hours), with time verified upon contract start • Floating assignments are limited to units where competencies have already been demonstrated and documented, supporting a safe and familiar work environment
