Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Maryville, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours • Float to similar units as needed based on census demands • Assist with and monitor patients undergoing special procedures including post heart catheterization care • Support bedside procedures such as dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage (I&D) • Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system • Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements prior to and during the assignment Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience • Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience • Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 50–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered based on overall experience • Familiarity with post-procedural cardiac care and telemetry monitoring • Experience with Omnicell medication management systems Why Join Us • Pre-assignment orientation modules may be reimbursable for up to 16 hours of completed work • Opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment with exposure to a variety of specialized bedside procedures
