Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Maryville, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours • Float to similar units as needed based on census and staffing requirements • Assist with and monitor patients undergoing special procedures including post heart cath care, bedside dialysis cath, thoracentesis, and I&D • Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system • Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis, approximately every other weekend, subject to change based on unit need • Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements prior to and during the assignment Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience • Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 50–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates residing fewer than 50 miles are not eligible Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior travel nursing experience; first-time travelers will be considered based on overall experience • Familiarity with post-procedural cardiac care, including post heart cath monitoring • Experience with bedside procedures such as thoracentesis and dialysis catheter care Why Join Us • Pre-assignment orientation modules may be reimbursable for up to 16 hours of completed time • Opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment with exposure to a broad range of specialized procedures and patient populations
