Key Responsibilities • Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable server-side applications using Java and J2EE. • API Implementation: Build and secure high-performance RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems. • System Optimization: Ensure the overall performance, scalability, and security of all server-side applications. • Design Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers to provide strong backend support for complex frontend features. • Requirements Translation: Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to understand, refine, and implement technical business requirements. Technical Requirements • Core Backend: Deep expertise in Java, J2EE, and the Spring Boot framework. • Database Management: Proficiency in relational databases, specifically Oracle, Postgres, or standard SQL. • DevOps & Documentation: Mastery of version control tools (Git, BitBucket) and API documentation frameworks like Swagger. Qualifications & Competencies • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of proven experience in backend software development. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field. • Principles: Deep understanding of core backend architecture and software development principles. • Methodologies: Experience working within fast-paced Agile development environments. • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, sharp attention to detail, and strong collaborative communication. Nice to Have Skills • Cloud Platforms: Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP. • DevOps & Containers: Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. • Architecture: Practical familiarity with building and maintaining Microservices architecture. • Knowledge of Reaact.js will be added advantage.
