Special Education Teacher - Queens, NY Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour Hours: 12:30pm to 4:30pm JOB DESCRIPTION: We here at Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services, PLLC are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher for 1:1 instruction with students who have autism or significant learning needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide individualized 1:1 instruction to students with autism or significant learning needs • Implement ABA-informed instructional strategies and collect data on student progress • Maintain current NYS Special Education licensure and all required DOE clearances • Collaborate with BCBAs, related service providers, and families on student goals • Adjust instructional strategies based on data-driven outcomes SKILLS: • Active NYS Special Education teaching license and current DOE clearances • Experience providing 1:1 instruction to students with autism or developmental disabilities • Familiarity with ABA-based instructional strategies and data collection • Strong relationship-building skills with students and families • Patience, creativity, and commitment to individualized student success WHAT SETS YOU APART?
