Our therapists and assistants are trained in treating neurological, orthopedic, vestibular, lymphedema, pediatrics, industrial medicine, swallowing, and speech and language disorders. Physical Therapist Acute Care PRN Job Description: • The staff physical therapist shall evaluate and treat patients, develop a treatment plan and set goals for patients. Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals. • The PT will complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies. • The therapist will assist with the education of affiliating students, department staff, hospital staff, and the community at large. • The therapist will appropriately delegate to and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians. The therapist will participate in departmental operational plan. • The therapist must intervene appropriately and meet the needs of the patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing or mobility.
