Golf Worker 1: Under general supervision performs unskilled maintenance and manual labor tasks for the Spokane County golf courses. Golf Worker 2: In addition to the duties outlined for Golf Worker 1: under general supervision performs semi-skilled maintenance and manual labor tasks for the Spokane County golf courses. Works more independently and with greater skill than a Golf Worker 1. May operate light duty power equipment. Drives a pickup truck with trailer. Golf Worker 3: In addition to the duties outlined for Golf Worker 2: under limited supervision performs maintenance tasks requiring considerable skill; performs supervisory duties over lower-level employees. May perform duties of Golf Marshall. Conducts more complex special projects and performs a variety of skilled trades and maintenance tasks. Regularly operates medium duty equipment. Conducts minor repairs to power and hand tools and vehicles. May assign, direct and coordinate the work of others; trains unskilled employees. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be 3 months experience which demonstrates necessary knowledge and abilities for the particular assignment. Prior supervisory experience may be required for those positions which have this responsibility.
