Job Description: Float Ultrasound Technologist - Urology Location: Brooklyn/Manhattan, NY Hours: 5/8.5 hour shifts, Monday - Friday (between 7:30am-6:00pm) Organization: New York Imaging (NYI) In This Role, You Will: • Perform a wide range of urology related ultrasound exams including, renal, bladder, prostate and small parts in an outpatient setting • Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to on site urologists • Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance • Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited • Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies. • Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills We Require: • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent • ARDMS (AB) certification required • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience • Urology ultrasound experience is a plus What We Offer: Salary: Starting at $48/hr Benefits: Health insurance from Day One, dental and vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401k, Paid Time Off (PTO), 8 paid holidays (including 2 floating holidays), and more Join us at NYI, where we are making strides in healthcare through innovative and compassionate care.
