Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Join the MercyOne family! We are looking to hire a Radiology Tech! As a Radiology Tech at MercyOne, you will: • Be responsible for performing general diagnostic imaging exams, CT's, as well as mammography and other designated procedures • Contribute to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care • Provide care appropriate to the age and development of patients of most ages – teenagers through geriatric Schedule: • 36 hours a week • Monday - Friday • Night and weekend call rotation (every 4th weekend) Requirements: • Graduation of an AMA Radiologic Technology program • Iowa permit to practice • Maintains certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists • ARRT Credentials preferred • Willing to obtain credentials within a designated time frame as determined by department need • Remains current with Continuing Education requirements for designated national certifications • Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status • Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 3 years MercyOne is proud to be equal opportunity employers.
