An Endoscopy Registered Nurse at MercyOne provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for infant through aging adult patients with gastrointestinal disorders/diseases, pulmonary conditions, and adults requiring prostate seed measurement and placement. Key Accountabilities: • Assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification • Planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice • Adherence to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA • Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities. Schedule: • 32 hours per week • Day shift • 10 am flex start time • Rotating call schedule General Requirements: • Possession of a current license as a Registered Nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa. • Possession of Illinois Registered Nurse license within 1 year of hire. • Basic Life Support certified within six (6) weeks of hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
