Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Vacation Rental Lead Housekeeper who takes pride in creating immaculate, welcoming spaces for our guests. This role is essential to delivering a high-quality guest experience by ensuring our vacation homes are consistently clean, well-stocked, and guest-ready. The ideal candidate is proactive, efficient, and service-minded, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to upholding brand standards. As a Vacation Rental Lead Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the comfort, cleanliness, and presentation of our properties while working closely with operations and guest experience teams. Responsibilities • Clean and prepare vacation rental homes between guest stays, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas. • Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff (room attendants, cleaners, public area staff). • Ensure timely cleaning of rooms, especially for check-ins and check-outs. • Make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize surfaces, and restock guest amenities and supplies. • Inspect properties for cleanliness, damages, missing items, or maintenance concerns and report issues promptly to management. • Ensure homes meet established quality, safety, and presentation standards prior to guest arrival. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen closets, storage areas, and housekeeping carts. • Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. • Fulfill guest housekeeping-related requests in a timely and professional manner when required. • Return items left behind by guests to the designated lost and found process. • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational excellence. • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or corrective action when needed. • Promote teamwork and maintain staff morale. • Ensure proper use and care of all work equipment and assets. Requirements • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards. • Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet turnover schedules. • Knowledge of proper use and handling of cleaning supplies and chemicals. • Willingness to follow established cleaning checklists and standard operating procedures. • Friendly, professional demeanor with a service-oriented mindset. • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties as needed. • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings. • Valid U.S. driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience • Previous cleaning and/or supervisory experience • Must have a cell phone Physical Demands • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and standing for extended periods. • Ability to climb stairs and navigate multi-level properties. • Capability to perform repetitive motions throughout the workday. • Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and supplies safely. • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors and in varying weather conditions as required.
