Description Job Title: Busser Role Overview: As a busser, you will play a crucial role in supporting the front-of-house team by ensuring that the dining area is always clean, organized, and welcoming. Key Responsibilities: • Table Maintenance: Assist in setting and resetting tables, ensuring they are following the cleaning standards and are properly arranged, and ready for guests. • Cleaning Duties: Clear dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables promptly, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and supporting the overall flow of service. • Assisting Servers: Support servers by refilling water, delivering bread or appetizers, and helping with any additional tasks to enhance the guest experience. • Floor Management: Monitor the dining area for any spills or debris, ensuring a safe and clean environment for guests and staff, paying close attention to bathrooms. • Ongoing Maintenance: ensure that the entire dining area, including tables, windows, floors, lighting, furniture, and fixtures, are always clean, organized, and welcoming. • Collaboration: Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service execution, communicating effectively to address guest needs promptly. • Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly and assist them with any inquiries or requests, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. • Restocking Supplies: Help maintain stock levels of utensils, napkins, and other dining essentials to ensure the team is well-prepared for service. Requirements Qualifications: • Previous experience as a busser or in a similar role in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required. • Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent teamwork and communication skills. • Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and items. • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
