Position: Process Engineer Key Responsibilities • • Prepare, review, and update Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), process flow sheets, and process documentation. • Develop and maintain mass and energy balances, process calculations, and operating parameters. • Monitor and control chemical process operations, including batch manufacturing and reactor operations. • Optimize processes to improve production yield, productivity, product quality, and cycle time. • Identify process bottlenecks, troubleshoot operational issues, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA). • Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address process deviations and recurring issues. • Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, quality standards, EHS requirements, and process safety guidelines. • Optimize raw material consumption, energy usage, solvent recovery, and overall manufacturing costs. • Support process scale-up, technology transfer, trial batches, and new product development. • Monitor KPIs, including production yield, batch cycle time, process losses, and equipment utilization. • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Instrumentation, Maintenance, QA/QC, and R&D teams for process improvements and modifications. • Prepare technical reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives to minimize waste and enhance operational efficiency. Required Skills • Strong knowledge of chemical process operations, PFDs/P&IDs, mass and energy balances, process optimization, troubleshooting, GMP, RCA/CAPA, and process safety standards.
