Full description

Bough is a decidedly different kind of advisory, assurance, and transformation solutions firm. Working collaboratively with clients in finance, audit, and compliance organizations, we co-create integrated solutions that connect people, processes, and technologies to navigate accounting, reporting, and compliance matters. Our services include finance and accounting advisory, revenue assurance, FP&A advisory and support, risk advisory, and process automation and transformation. We are busy and sometimes crazy busy delivering exceptional results to our clients with trust, quality, and humanness. Our name 'Bough' means the main branch of a tree - a name that keeps us grounded in nature and emphasizes our belief that we wish to be the main branch on which our clients and employees lean with trust. For any position we are hiring, we don’t just want you to be an ambitious, analytical, multi-skilled, risk-taking go-getter for Bough. We want you to be more. More for yourself and for anything you undertake. Socially responsible, intuitive, empathetic, trustworthy, thoughtful, imaginative, creative, and curious are some words that resonate with us. Your skills are a qualifier, and we believe that each of us is much more than the skills we bring to our job - the person we are looking for... Role Overview This is a predominantly hands-on role (approximately 90% execution) focused on implementing automation projects, deploying vendor solutions, and developing practical AI use cases within finance environments. You will work closely with managers who lead client advisory and solution design. Your responsibility will be translating defined business requirements into working automation systems and AI-enabled workflows. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career who enjoys building more than presenting, and wants exposure to real client implementations across SMEs and larger corporates. Key Responsibilities • Implement RPA solutions (UiPath or equivalent) for finance processes such as reconciliations, reporting, and controls • Configure and deploy vendor automation, workflow, and data tools for client use cases • Build Python and SQL-based automation scripts for data transformation and reporting improvement • Support system implementations including ETL processes, workflow tools, and BI platforms • Develop and deploy practical AI solutions, including: • Azure OpenAI or similar AI services • Custom GPT-based workflows • AI-assisted validation, documentation, or reporting tools • Evaluate AI and automation vendors based on client needs and recommend appropriate solutions • Improve data quality through validation logic, reconciliation checks, and structured controls • Document implementations clearly and create reusable templates and components • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and adoption Qualifications and Experience • 1–4 years of experience in automation, RPA, analytics, or system implementation roles • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field • Hands-on exposure to RPA tools (UiPath preferred; equivalent platforms acceptable) • Working knowledge of Python and SQL • Experience working with finance data, ERP systems, or reporting environments is preferred • Exposure to AI/LLM tools (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI, GPT-based workflows) is an advantage • Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data sets • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail • Clear communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, hybrid environment Preferred Skills • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly • Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage teams, engage senior client stakeholders, and drive outcomes • High energy and enthusiasm, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service and expanding Bough’s technology risk capabilities • Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset, with a desire to build, grow, and shape Bough’s technology risk practice • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment while maintaining quality, integrity, and professionalism Fresh graduates with strong project or internship experience in automation and AI will also be considered.
