Description The teacher is a qualified professional educator. Candidate should: • Have an academic background in their area of study • Demonstrate curriculum knowledge and the ability to follow standards based instruction in a resourceful manner, to plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities and activities for maximum effectiveness • Be proficient in the daily use and integration of technology in the educational environment • Stay abreast of current research and educational best practices by evidence of pursuing continual professional development • Be a skilled communicator and have the ability to work effectively with students, parents, peers, administrators and other • Have the ability to assess levels of student achievement, analyze test results and deliver instruction to varied learners • Complete other tasks as assigned by administration Requirements • Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in related field • Valid Florida teacher certification in the subject area or eligibility to be certified • High school teaching experience preferred • Employment is contingent on the applicant passing a full background check
