Description Rate: $16.50 PROCESSING DUTIES • Inspect clothing donations for cleanliness and style. • Test all appliances and electronics to determine if items are in • working condition. • Determine the retail value of items according to pricing guidelines • and ticket the merchandise; size and tag and correctly hang all merchandise. • Clean merchandise as required. • Ensure a consistent flow of merchandise to the sales floor as directed by the Processing Lead. • Other duties as assigned. • Adhere to processing area dress code (neat jeans, shirts with collar and closed toed shoes). • Perform related work and other duties when required and as assigned. Requirements PHYSICAL FACTORS • Continuous moving, reaching, twisting and walking. • Frequent bending. • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently. • Continuous standing for extended periods of time. SPIRITUAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Take every opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. • Provide spiritual encouragement to staff, volunteers, guests, and residents. • Invest in the spiritual development of staff, guests, residents, and donors. • Pray for and with staff, volunteers, guests, residents, and donors. • Ensure actions and policies reflect the Christian values and purpose of the Mission. • Handle relational conflicts according to the Staff Covenant of Romans 12:18 and Matthew 18:15-19. • Memorize monthly Scripture, Mission Statement, and Mission Core Values. • Participate in corporate prayer and Scripture reading, staff chapel services, and all spiritual gatherings. • Support and attend annual mandatory Evangelism In Service training to grow in knowledge of leading others to faith in Christ. • Participate in annual spiritual growth training through organization selected curriculum. QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma, GED or the work equivalent. Must be able to make quick and decisive judgments on the quality and retail value of merchandise. • Have knowledge of fashion labels and trends. • Must engage in safe and healthy work practices, for all staff, volunteers, and program participants.
