Physical Requirements: • Ability to exert 20 pounds of force to move items as needed • Complete tasks subject to environmental conditions • Stooping, reaching, keyboarding, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion are all essential functions of the job • Must be able to stand and walk for 8 hours or more per day Requirements Minimum Qualifications • Basic computer and math knowledge • Must be able to count money Work Requirements • Must be able to cheerfully and accurately complete point of sale transactions while interacting with the people around you, including customers, co-workers, telephone customers. Must be able to simultaneously monitor entrance / exits points for shrinkage. • Physical activity includes: Stooping, reaching, standing, walking, keyboarding, grasping, talking, feeling, hearing, and repetitive motion. • Physical requirements: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. • Visual acuity requirements: A cashier must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and use of measurement devices. Cashiers are required to have acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned and to make general observations of business activity (monitoring entrance / exit points). • Working conditions: Cashiers are subject to environmental conditions.
