Description A Baggage Jammer Technician is responsible for delivering luggage and clearing baggage jams in the airport baggage handling system (BHS). May also be responsible for scanning bags in the manual encode station, pushing stacks of tubs, and straightening bags on the conveyor as necessary. Basic duties include (but are not limited to): • Delivering luggage to multiple locations across the BHS as necessary • Clearing baggage jams and ensuring proper placement of baggage on the BHS system to ensure proper function • Communicating baggage jam corrections and luggage assignment updates timely • Properly scanning baggage as necessary • Proper use of manual code station • Working as a team to ensure the success of the entire BHS Requirements: • Must be able to communicate clearly, efficiently, and effectively • Must have excellent customer service skills • Must be able to work with a sense of urgency • Must be able to multitask and problem-solve Hours & Compensation: Full Time - 40 Hours - 4 Days Per Week Benefits: 401K, Medical, Life, Vision, and Dental Insurance Paid Vacation and Sick Time
