Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for Syracuse Community Health in Syracuse, New York. POSITION OVERVIEW • Provide outpatient behavioral health services through individual, family, and group counseling. • Complete behavioral health assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans. • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes. • Collaborate with primary care providers, psychiatric providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver integrated care. • Provide crisis intervention, patient advocacy, and behavioral health education. • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record. Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in New York. • Experience providing individual, family, and group counseling. • Ability to perform behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans. • Strong crisis intervention and patient advocacy skills. • Experience collaborating within interdisciplinary healthcare teams. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Electronic medical record documentation experience.
