Description Job Summary The Barback supports bartenders by maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar, preparing garnishes, and ensuring smooth bar operations. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and excellent teamwork skills. Key Responsibilities • Assist with opening and closing duties including restocking garnishes, towels, and glassware. • Maintain inventory of ice, liquor, wine, and beer. • Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing kegs. • Keep the bar clean by wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash. • Memorize cocktail recipes and menu items. • Support bartenders with taking orders, preparing drinks, bussing tables, and processing payments. • Engage with customers, answer questions, and handle complaints. • Monitor stock usage and assist in reordering. Requirements Qualifications & Requirements • Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for long periods. • Must have valid food handler’s card • Must have valid TABC certification • High school diploma or equivalent. • Meets legal minimum age to serve alcohol. • Knowledge of bar menu items and basic drink preparation. • Excellent communication and time management skills. • Ability to lift heavy items and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
