Description Position Summary: Responsible for areas such as accounts payable, processing payroll for all Xpress Wellness locations, GL accounting, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, and/or budgeting/forcasting. Working with the Accounting Manager, accounting, and leadership teams at the corporate office along with clinic personnel to ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting. Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsible for accounts payable • General Ledger accounting in a timely and accurate manner • Manage bank reconciliations accurately • Resolves and approves billing holds, financial refunds and accounting corrections, originating at the multiple sites • Responsible for General Ledger and maintaining efficiently and accurately • Assist in establishing, maintaining, and monitoring accounting controls. Assist with the budgets. • Work with the Accounting Manager on forecasting and financial reporting accurately and timely. • Analyze accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to generally accepted accounting principles • Works with the Accounting Manager on appropriate fiscal strategies for the organization. • Develops systems for the maintenance of financial records, making use of current technologies. • Assist Accounting Manager with business personal property renditions, Form 1099s, and other annual filings as needed • Participates in creating forms and manuals for the department. Qualifications: Education: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting or finance Experience: • At least 1 year of previous experience in company accounting and/or public accounting. Skills: • Good planning and organizational skills. • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. • Professional appearance and manner. • Proficient utilizing Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office (excel and accountingsoftware programs) • Possess analytical skills and problem solving. • Ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs. Working Conditions: • May be exposed to/occasionally exposed to patient elements • Subject to varying and unpredictable situations and interruptions. • Occasionally subjected to irregular hours. • Occasional pressure due to a fast-paced environment. • Position may require lifting, carrying or pushing equipment or patients.
