Community inclusion support will likely include: attending social and volunteering events with clients, encouraging client involvement in community, advocating for clients, and providing transportation • Ensuring client’s health and safety. • Working with others in the interest of the individuals we support. • Proper documentation compliance in accordance with State of ME regulatory guidelines and practices using the ClearCare/Well Sky phone app. Requirements Qualifications: • One year of Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience. Alternatively, experience in the health and human services field, including roles as an educational technician, is also preferred. • High School Diploma or G.E.D. as well as proof of completion. • At least 18 years of age. • Legally eligible to work in the United States. • Pass a criminal, drug, and background check. • Three references. • Own a smartphone. • Able to keep online records and communicate via email. • Have a valid Driver’s License • Reliable transportation and proof of insurance. • DSP Certificate required • Have or be willing to obtain CPR, First Aid, and other training as required per state of Maine or clients’ Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) • Have or be willing to obtain up-to-date, CDC-recommended immunizations for healthcare workers including: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B and Seasonal Influenza.
