Description The Position: Scarlet Oak Tavern is seeking a dynamic, experienced server/bartender. This hybrid role will work both floor and bar shifts, creating a memorable dining experience for our guests wherever they dine. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, knowledge of craft cocktails, wine and craft beer, as well as possess exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of hospitality work history, with at least 3 years bartending experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant. Responsibilities: • Greet guests and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. • Take food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff using our POS. • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner. • Craft cocktails to exacting recipes (including proper technique) • Check on guests frequently to ensure their needs are met and they are enjoying their experience. • Provide recommendations for menu items and beverages. • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently. • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
