Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our growing team! This is an opportunity for a versatile, clinically skilled technician who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine in a Fear Free environment, has a passion for dentistry, and takes pride in sharing their knowledge and helping others grow. Our ideal candidate is confident across all aspects of RVT responsibilities in a general practice setting, with particular strengths in anesthesia and dentistry, as well as experience providing emergency care. Sundays tend to bring a higher volume of urgent and emergency cases, so the ability to think critically, prioritize patient needs, and work confidently in a fast-paced environment is important. As our team continues to grow, there is also potential for leadership opportunities for the right candidate. In this position, you will take an active role in: • Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows • Performing triage and initial assessment of urgent and emergency patients, initiating stabilization measures, and providing appropriate nursing support • Coordinating surgical and dental procedure schedules • Calculating and preparing anesthetic medications and drug dosages • Inducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia patients • Performing dental prophylaxis, dental radiography, and dental extractions • Monitoring patient recovery and ongoing procedural care • Guiding clients through patient admission and discharge with confidence and compassion Schedule and compensation: • Compensation: $28 - $31 per hour, for each hour worked • This is a full-time position with a 5/8 schedule and availibility needed Sunday through Thursday.
